Work Hours/Shift: PRN as needed You Will Be Responsible For: Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Observe safety precautions at all times; use protective wear, gloves, goggles; use proper body mechanics. Follow standard precautions at all times. Completes work assignments thoroughly and follows up on requests in an accurate, prompt and timely manner. Maintains strict confidence of patient and/or customer information. Qualifications
What You Will Need: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required. High School Graduate or equivalent is required. Nurse Assistant Current in the North Carolina Nurse Assistant Registry, preferred. Surgical experience preferred. Current BLS certification required.
Job Summary: Responsible for keeping the Surgical Services Department clean and organized. Transport patients to and from the OR. Take specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts, etc.
