Full Time Exempt position
You Will be Responsible for:
Â·Facilitates and provides strategic direction for the integrated planning and execution of hospital and service line marketing plans including advertising, marketing, community relations, special events, media, sponsorships, physician relations, customer service, internal communication, new business opportunities and market research
Â·Utilizes market research data to support marketing strategy/integrated campaign development and maintaining competitor, consumer and physician information
Â·Collaborates with the executive team to develop overall organization goals and objectives in the strategic and financial planning process
Â·Works with the executive team to develop new business strategies to achieve organization and financial goals
Â·Leadership and management of the physician relations
Â·Leadership and management of the marketing manager who leads the marketing team and all consumer-facing marketing initiatives
Â·Supervisor to the Communications Director who oversees generation of news releases, PSAs, advertisements, feature stories and story ideas on the hospital and its services. Oversees public statements regarding public issues of interest to the hospital
Â·Develops market research tools to identify community needs, perceptions and habits.
Â·Develops monitoring systems to measure the success of marketing plans, reporting the results to senior management.
Â·Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental operational budget.
Â·Maintains financial records and expenditures for supplies and equipment.
Â·Establishes and communicates departmental support for the strategic plan and mission of AdventHealth Hendersonville.
Â·Develops and administers policies and procedures according to TJC, HFAP and AdventHealth Hendersonville guidelines. Reviews and revises these as needed to reflect changes in patient services and/or other regulatory body requirements.
Â·Through community involvement, exhibits a positive image through professional conduct, pride and support of the organization as demonstrated by active participation in community programs, projects and professional associations.
What You Will Need:
Knowledge of state health data and market share reports required
5 years experience in healthcare marketing and communications required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business or related field required
Supervisory experience required
Reports directly to the Vice President Operations/COO and is responsible for direction of strategy and business development, marketing and advertising, internal and external communications and physician relations. Develops and directs initiatives to improve the organizationâ™s market position and achieve financial growth through identification of long-term organizational goals, building of key relationships, exploration of new business opportunities and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Leads Marketing, Communications and Business Development teams to achieve hospital volume growth. Provides input into the development of policies and procedures, ensures all activities comply with hospital and outside regulatory agency standards. Insures proper workflow and departmental productivity, adjusting staffing levels as required. Brings ideas, concerns and issues to the attention of the Chief Operating Officer and acts as a liaison for the department with the entire executive leadership team.
