Rehabilitation nurse managers have primary responsibility for implementing the mission, vision, policies, goals, and objectives of the organization and the nursing/clinical services within their area(s). Rehabilitation nurse managers are the liaisons between rehabilitation nursing, other disciplines, and administration. In the liaison role, rehabilitation nurse managers promote the philosophy and goals of the organization, the development of team relationships, and congruent rehabilitation practices. Rehabilitation nurse managers allocate available resources for the efficient delivery of rehabilitation care and participate in executive decision making related to departmental functions.

Experience with electronic scheduling systems, EMR, and on-line variance reporting
Knowledge of general nursing theories and practice
3 years nursing experience required, Experience in clinical rehabilitation nursing and nursing management preferred
2 Years Leadership role and/or related experience preferred
Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s) encouraged
Must have current BLS certification and ACLS

Category 1-2 Blood Exposure
Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated and ventilated hospital complex.Subject to personal injury when involved in restraint care of hostile, combative patients and family members.Subject to exposure to communicable diseases and infections.Subject to exposure to radiation in assisting with x-ray procedures on critical patients.Subject to cuts, punctures, and electrical shock when utilizing various equipment and supplies.Subject to muscular strain when lifting, moving, turning and transporting patients.Stands and walks throughout the day.Assists in lifting, moving, turning, restraining, and transporting patients.Utilizes a variety of standard nursing equipment/supplies, and maintains competency in their operation.
