Transplant Coordinators – bring your experience to Duke University Hospital’s Heart Services Transplant Program, where we have an immediate opportunity. We are an active program, transplanting 70+ patients per year while delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes.
Working with pre- and post-heart transplant patients during the post phase of transplant, as an integral member of a larger interdisciplinary team contributing to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and in providing leadership to the organization, you will provide advanced nursing care for patients after transplantation along the continuum of outpatient to inpatient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition to a BSN and state of NC RN licensure, we require five years’ nursing experience with at least two years in transplant, critical care, disease specific OR minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in transplant, critical care, disease specific.
