Transplant Coordinators – bring your experience to Duke University Hospital’s Lung Transplant Program, where we have an immediate opportunity in Post-lung transplant. We are an active program, transplanting 100+ patients per year while delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure excellent patient experiences and outcomes.
Working with lung transplant patients during the post phase of transplant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes 13 lung transplant coordinators and three nurse clinicians, you will provide advanced nursing care for patients after lung transplantation along the continuum of outpatient to inpatient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition to a BSN and state of NC RN licensure, we require five years’ nursing experience with at least two years in transplant, critical care, disease specific OR minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in transplant, critical care, disease specific.
