Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking the following:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - THE BARCLAY @ SOUTHPARK
To model, teach and inspire a culture of hospitality and excellence in customer service while engaging employees through encouragement and empowerment through effective leadership.
To assure that all management and operations of Senior/Independent Living and Garden Flats (when available) function efficiently and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as the Policies and Procedures set forth.
To represent the Community in an engaging and professional manner to residents, families, staff, regulators/governmental agencies, vendors, and the public.
To work in conjunction with the CCRC Campus Director to provide leadership and direction to the Independent Living Community.
Maintains, directs, coordinates, and supervises all activities of the Independent Living Apts. and Garden Flats Community.
Establishes and maintains personnel policies and department policies and procedures; and assures that the staff carry out these policies and procedures.
Participates in and conducts in-service training for supervisory personnel and all staff.
Interviews and selects personnel to supervise/direct activities of all departments.
Works closely with the CCRC Campus Director and Administrator of Healthcare Center to coordinate moves between the Independent Living and Healthcare Center.
Prepares and maintains an annual budget for the Community.
Attends workshops and seminars in order to maintain proper credentialing.
Reviews the physical environment and plant operation of the Community on a regular basis; supervises maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Authorizes purchase of equipment and supplies as approved by guidelines established by CCRC Campus Director and Liberty Senior Living Management Services.
Makes daily rounds of the Community getting to know residents, family members, and staff.
Performs other duties as outlined by Liberty Senior Living Management Services.
Works a minimum of 40 hours per week but must be willing to be on call 24 hours a day.
Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills with the public, personnel, visitors, family members, and residents.
Involved in community health activities and various civic matters.
Must have completed at least 2 years of college or have at least 4 years of supervisory experience in a “Service” Community.
Must have a sound knowledge of personnel administration and must be able to supervise all employees.
Must have a sound knowledge of local, Federal and State regulations, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, nursing and medical practices and procedures, and any other laws pertaining to Community operation.
Ability to make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
Must have knowledge of economic conditions and ability to adjust cost of operation to meet community ability to pay for services.
Must have the ability to keep abreast of changes in the Independent/Senior Living industry.
Must process ability to interpret financial statements and prepare monthly reports for Liberty Senior Living Management Services.
Must have the ability to promote public relations.
